Export a report from PBI Server

Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to export a report from Power Bi Server with code or It's just possible with power BI pro or embedded.
I have a report and I want to export to PDF or images.
Thanks.

  • Yes this is possible and you don't even need much code. The simplest way to do this is with URL parameters using the ReportServer endpoint (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/url-access-parameter-reference?view=sql-server-ver15)

Passing the url parameters something like the following would get you a PDF:
    http(s)://<server>/ReportServer?<pathToReport>&rs:Command=Render&rs:Format=PDF

And if your report has parameters you can pass those in on the url also.

No, it defaults to the name of the report and there is no option to specify an alternate name

    HI Anonymous ,

maybe my solution is to easy but I would print it with the print function and configure the printer as PDF creator.
