Excel Input and ODATA connection in same Power BI file
Hello Experts,
I have a situation to generate the data model for a same dashboard from 2 different data base. 1 is from Excel and another 1 is via ODATA services. Is that, possible while create Power BI file to have 2 different type of data models

Please have a try.
Get data from excel:
- In Power BI Desktop, go to the "Home" tab and select "Get Data" > "Excel".
- Browse to your Excel file, select it, and then choose the tables or sheets you want to import.
- Once the data is loaded, you can transform or shape it using the Query Editor if necessary.
Get data from odata:
- Again, in Power BI Desktop, go to "Get Data" but this time select "OData Feed".
- Enter the URL of the OData service you want to connect to. If authentication is required, select the appropriate authentication method and provide the necessary credentials.
- Select the data you wish to import from the OData feed. You can also transform this data in the Query Editor as needed.
Depending on your requirements, you might need to combine or relate the data from Excel and OData. This can be done by creating relationships between the tables in the model view or by using Power Query to merge or append queries.
