Event Queue large backlog of refreshes

Hi,

 

Has anyone had any experience with this issue.

 

Power BI Report Server was stopped and when re-started a large number of refreshes have been entered in [dbo].[Event] table of the PBI Report Server DB. The vast majority where entered at the same time.

 

Currently the server is working through this backlog, but will take another 4-6 hours to complete.

 

I'm guesing that when the service is re-started PBI Report Server run every missed schedule re-fresh.

    I have experienced this same situation during a Disaster Recovery Test, every scheduled refresh that would have occured appear in the event table, based on the date we restored the database from.

     

    Has anyone be able to deal with this?
