  • Hi StephOman ,

if possible shift this topic to Power BI Service :).

I try to create also a Power Point in Power BI Service and it works - data is stored in: North Europe (Ireland).

May be it is a Power BI Service "Downtime" try it again in 1-2 hours.

    Best,

    Kathrin

When I had this problem I fixed it with the following:

    1. Go to another report and export it to PowerPoint.  Try one which is super simple - maybe including just one table.  Unexpectedly this export worked for me - which shows the issue was something to do with the initial report.
    2. In the export which failed, I looked for the non-standard. There was a large shaded shape in it.  I removed the shading from it in the desktop app.  Republished the report.
    3. The export worked.

This certainly may not be the only reason for this error - but it the process may be helpful to some
