Hi DuncanYeah
Thanks for posting your query in community forum.
Here are several steps and considerations, which may help resolve your problem:
- Check that your Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Server versions align.
- After publishing, check that the refreshed data source. Check if scheduled refreshes are working as expected or refresh manually.
- Check for both Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Server to establish a connection to the same source with the same credentials.
- Check if there are other filters or slicers in Power BI Desktop and Report Server.
- Clean the cache of the report server and even restart the server.
- Verify that the data model hasn't changed since the last publish. Check calculations and measures.
- if using Row-Level Security, check if it is working as expected in both Desktop and Report Server.
- In Power BI Desktop, use the Performance Analyzer to see how queries are being executed.
- Look for any error messages or logs on the Report Server.
If nothing else works, try making a minor modification in Power BI Desktop and re-publish the report.
