Connect to a server
Hi,
I was looking for for some tool that could help me to import data from SQL and/or EXCEL and present them in a more visual interface.
I had just installed SQL Server Mobile Report Publisher but I´m having trouble in the first steps, I´m trying to get data from my server but when I try to connect I receive the following message:
"Could not connect to server. Please check connection parameters and try again."
If anyone knows a straightforward way to connect it would help me a lot.
Thanks in advance.

I´m filling the field "Server Adress" with "GSAOT001/DBGARDE/reports" wich is the same server adress I use to connect in SQL Server.
If anyone knows a straightforward way to connect it would help me a lot.

Hi AlvesN,
You need to create a shared dataset in Power BI report server or SSRS then in SQL Server mobile report publisher, get data from the share ddataset by entering web portal URL. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/mobile-reports/get-data-from-shared-datasets-in-reporting-services-mobile-reports
