1. It depends on company's business requirements, you can go through this article firstly then you will know if they need Premium: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-premium-faq

 

2. Power BI report server is a on-premise solution which behinds firewall. Power BI report server supports Power BI reports, SSRS  Paginated reports and mobile reports. For more information, you can refer to articles: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/get-started

    v-qiuyu-msft Thanks a ton for your reply. I really appreciate it. 

     

    Some other questions that customer asked

     

    1. When we purchase Power BI Premium the Power BI Gateway is automatically installed. Is it true or we have to install as an add-on? 

    2. If the customer has Office 365 and Azure subscription in the cloud and they also have On-prem SharePoint 2016. Have they to purchase the only one License for both cloud AND  On-Prem?
