Cannot connect to on-premises gateway (personal mode)

Hi Everyone

I hope someone can help. I am trying to connect my on-premesis gateway but I keep getting an unhelpful error saying "Something went wrong" (screen shot below). My gateway appears to be up and running, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the gateway, signing out and back in to the gateway and bi etc... I just keep getting the error?
