Can one gateway be used by two different workspaces?

Hello,

I set up a premium workspace and on-premises data gateway for my team to use for data refreshes.  The gateway is located on a windows virtual server.  Another team with a separate premium workspace was asking if they could use our gateway to refresh their datasets.  Is that possible?

  • jdwalker5 : Yes, its possible as long as your and another team are part of the same tenant. Its not controlled by "workspace", its controlled at user level. You will just need to add the other team to the gateway.

    • You will need to add the other group as member \contributor to the gateway servers
    • You will need to share  the individual connection so that they can use and enable data refreshes
