Hi hjansen1976, 

 

From your description, it looks like there is a SSAS model, and you would like to add an additional table to the SSAS model ( contains data for table visual in Power BI), right? 

 

For your requirement, you need to do it on SSAS side. I would suggest you post a new thread in SSAS forum to get help: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/home?forum=sqlanalysisservices

 

By the way, to add a comment for specific visuals on Power BI side, you could use report page tooltip feature, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-tooltips
