Why i cannot create a SCHEDULE refresh for a Datamart (Preview)?

Hello
Im currently testing fabrics "Datamart" for the last 6 months. I however descover that i can no longer edit/create a schedule refresh for any datamart i have (old and new). The option "Schedule Refresh" is grayed out.

Some old datamart still have there old schedule refresh that still works however it is not possible to edit. The option "Schedule Refresh" is also grayed out.

The workspace im using have a Fabrics licens with a large semantic model.

Anyone have an idea where or how i can fix this?

Yup that's exactly how mine looks. From there, I click on the Power BI card. That takes me to something that looks just like Power BI service but the URL still says fabric. Then navigate to your workspace and try to schedule the datamart refresh as usual and that works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Hi JohnMarkPerez ,

I do a test on creating a schedule refresh for a Datamart.

So I think you need to ensure that your datamart's scheduled refresh is correctly set up. As per the documentation on managing datamart refreshes, you can configure the scheduled refresh from the datamart settings page. Double-check to make sure the schedule is correctly configured to meet your update requirements.

There's a known issue where scheduled refreshes might be skipped for datasets connected to a dataflow, as mentioned in the documentation. Although the schedule time appears correct, the refresh might not actually take place. A workaround for this issue is to republish the dataset under a different name to the same workspace.

      Hello v-yilong-msft
Do you have by any chance a Premium per user licens? I think the problem occurs with a fabrics licens.
The option you are showing is not an

      available option on my service.

        Hi JohnMarkPerez ,

As you mentioned, the workspace is in Premium capacity or has a Premium Per User (PPU) license. The Data Marketplace requires a Power BI Premium subscription to enable scheduled refreshes.

As you can see in the image above, you can read this document for more information: Get started with datamarts (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
