Solved

visuals not appear in web

Hi,Power Bi webThe aging portion is a query created in power bi desktop itself, which now does not appear when refresh in power bi web.

I have connected postgreSQL to power bi desktop via import mode.

I made some new queries like Age Group, some formula also using DAX in Power BI desktop.

Then, i published my 5 page dashboard to web. I setup gateway to connect postgreSQL to Power Bi web to for schedule refreshing.

Yes, it got refreshed but some visuals missing. Those fields which were created using Power BI Formula or DAX, the visuals were missing when refresh in power BI web.

The attached photo shows blank one (is power bi web, when refresh show blank) while the one with full visual is power bi desktop (whereby the aging x-axis information was created a query in power bi, not from postgreSQL, so it does not publish the visual in power bi web when refresh in web)

Please help me step by step on how to ensure those visuals appear.

Hi Anonymous , one initial step that may be helpful in diagnosing what's going on is to hover over the "applied filters and slicers" button on the visual, to verify that there are no filters or slicers that may being inadvertently applied.

I find that occasionally, the caching that happens in Power BI Service causes unintended filters to "stick" even after republishing from Desktop, and I need to click "Reset to Default" to clear them out.

THANK YOU SO MUCH !! I helped me so much and fixed the issue. Just by playing around the filters, all the visualization appeared.

Just another query. For the below visualization, in my power bi desktop i set the due date as today (3rd Jan 2021), however when i published to power bi web, the due date autoset to 2nd Jan 2021, but refresh data is 3rd Jan 2021.

And then i tried playing around the filters, when i select due data 3rd Jan 2021, no data appears on web. Thats strange. Is possible that there is a step by step that i can ensure the due date is exactly today 3rd Jan 2021 and not a day before ?

    Thank you so much.
