unable to create connection on Synapse SQL serverless DB
- Anonymous1 year ago
Hi AOD ,
Since public access is disabled, Power BI cannot directly connect to Synapse Serverless. To enable access while keeping public network access disabled, consider the following solutions:-
Since public access is disabled, your Synapse Serverless database needs a Private Endpoint within your Virtual Network. This ensures a secure connection without exposing it to the public internet.
-
If Power BI Service is outside your Virtual Network, you may need to install an On-Premises Data Gateway inside the VNet. This gateway acts as a bridge, securely connecting Power BI to Synapse through the Private Endpoint.
