Timeout error at 225 seconds

Question

I am running a Direct-query to SQL Server and embedded a report to our internal portal.

For some of the visuals, I am getting time out error at 225 seconds.

Is there a way that I can change that to different time?

If so, where can I change this property ?

Hi thereIt would appear that there is a timeout setting on the DirectQuery link to your SQL Server Source.Could you have a look at the data source settings and see if there is a timeout value?

Hi there,That would make sense as to why it is failing.I would suggest as in the image you sent to ensure that your queries can respond in less than 4 minutes. So there might be some optimizations that are required.Or look at the new Aggregation tables in Power BI which was released in the September Version
