Text Filter Visual does not work on Service

Hi,

 

I installed the text filter visual on the power bi desktop and it works fine.

 

But I find when I try to use the clear selection option using the erasor, it does not work on the power bi service dashboard. One has to always refresh the broswer page instead of clearing the selection.

 

Can someone please assist on how it can work?

    Which web broswer do the user use, how about changing another broswer?

      hi v-juanli-msft,

       

      Strange, I tried in google chrome and in IE.. Does not work. I am trying to use the eraser on the dashboard which has been created by using the "pin live page" option in reports section of the service.

       

      Any other work around possible?

    This issue is reported to Power BI Team and the solution will release in 7/4/2018.

        I'm having the same problem.  When I found this filter, it was exactly what I was looking for.  The nature of my business demands a context-sensitive filter and this was perfect for my needs.  Unfortunately, it's not working in the service.

         

        To make matters worse, using the new RESET button that ties to a default bookmark for the purpose of "resetting" your view works for every filter EXCEPT the Text filter.

         

        I await the fix.
