Table export formatting problems

I have an issue from Exporting to excel as 'summarised data' causes column headers change therie name as original column name for a single column

It should be only Market. It is working correctlty at my end but end user repeatedly facing this issue.

Thanks

  • Hi Anonymous ,

The Export data as Summarized data by default exports the data with column names shwing the Aggregation applied.

Instead, if you are displaying the summarized data in your report, you can export the data by selecting the "Data with Current Layout" option. That will download the visual with the Column days that are displayed in the report

        Hi,

Is there any renaming of Columns that was done from the Power BI service after publishing the report to Power BI Service?

    Hi Anonymous

Does this happen to all your end users? Or is it just some end users who have this problem when exporting? I tested the scenario you described, and the column headers of the exported data are the same and have not changed . You can first judge whether it is an individual user problem or a general problem .

    Best Regard

        Hi Anonymous ,

From what you say, it doesn't seem to be a general problem. Only specific users are having this issue while others are getting as expected.

Then in such case, this could be some browser property setting that is causing this. Try to understand which of their browser setting is different from yours. That might crack the reason behind this issue. I don't get to think of any possible reason that can cause this. Of course, have never come across something like this until now
