Symantec Model's Auto Refresh turns off atuomatically
Hello experts,
I have an issue discovered few days back and I was keeping track on that, the issue is that I have published a report in Power BI service, I have setup a scheduled auto refresh daily for 8 times, it runs as expected, but sometimes what happens is that the auto refresh gets off automatically without knowing or any error and the report stops refreshing, then manually I have to go and turn it on again, I don't know the reason why this happens. I'm having Pro License.
Can you please help. I have attached the screenshot when I found it turned off automatically.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Hi Poojara_D12,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum. It appears that the auto-refresh feature in Power BI is turning off unexpectedly. Based on the information provided, it seems the auto-refresh toggle switch is set to "Off" without any clear reason or error message.
Consider these steps to resolve the issue:
- Ensure that the gateway version is up to date and that the report has a gateway selected. If there's no gateway selected, the data source might have changed or might be missing.
- There are various scenarios that might cause refresh issues, such as unsupported data sources, expired OAuth tokens, or network connectivity problems. Reviewing these scenarios and troubleshooting accordingly can help resolve the issue. For more information refer to the below link:

Hello Poojara_D12
if a dataset fails to refresh four times in a row, Power BI automatically disables its scheduled refresh. You can check the refresh history in the Power BI Service to see if errors occurred during previous attempts

Hope this helps.
