Subcription

Hello,

Before the update, the subscription email included an image. Now it has disappeared. Can I restore the image?

  • Hello Vian_Reporting

The UI changes but it is still possible

    Select Standard

On the next windows, select More Option and enable Report Page Preview

Normally with that, you should have a image of the report included in the email

Hi Vian_Reporting, adding to the Report page preview tip, there are a few other reasons the image can go missing even when that toggle is on. If the report has Row level security, or the subscription is sent to recipients who do not have access to the report, the preview is skipped. Also check that the subscription is not set to send the attachment only, and that the mail client is not blocking external images, since the preview is loaded as an inline image and Outlook often shows it as a blocked picture until you click download pictures. If you have recently changed the report, open the subscription, click Save again without changing anything, and then use the Run now option to send a test to yourself. That refreshes the subscription definition and often brings the preview back. If it still does not show up, try creating a brand new subscription on a different page of the report, because a page that uses a custom visual or a very heavy visual can fail to render the snapshot. And if the tenant recently changed the subscription settings, a Fabric admin can confirm that email subscriptions and the preview image are allowed in the admin portal under tenant settings.
