Standalone Copilot - data interactions

Hi there!

In my tenant, I require my data to remain compliant to data residency requirements. My Power BI tenant is in Canada, howver as I understand, Standalone Copilot is not available in datacenters in Canada, even though it is available to interact with datasets in my tenant (which will require further consent/settings to be updated).

My concern is - if a dataset is marked discoverable, and Standalone Copilot (from US/EU) is enabled, can the dataset be discovered through Copilot? Would leaving Standalone Copilot enabled expose any of the data in my tenant? Are others users able to interact with datasets in my tenant (whether they have access to them or not, and if they are discoverable as well as undiscoverable)?

Also, how does cost/pricing work? Does enabling the feature have additional costs? Same with licensing.

I just need to be sure about these cases before the rollout.

Thank you!
