Shared with me is GONE
Some users of our organziation do not have a Shared with me in the service any longer. Instead, there is a new Browse option that once expanded has Shared with me along with Favorites and Recents. For some other users, they still have the Shared with me option.
Can anyone help explain this?
This seems to be a change that several users are seeing, but as yet not all of them.
My own account shows this change, but other users in the same tenant see a different UI.

These are similar users in the same tenant that have been using Power BI for some years.
It feels like Microsoft is moving the furniture around, hopefully it will settle down soon before we get innundated with support calls!

Hi tctrout ,
The user account that sees "Browse" was randomly selected as part of an experiment evaluating a potential change to the UI. If the customer would like to opt-out of experiments they can do so by disabling experimentation see User experience experiments admin settings - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
When this feature is enabled, users in the organization will get minor user experience variations, including content, layout, and design, that the Power BI team is experimenting with before they go live for all users.

tctrout I wonder if it is part of their monthly update. It could be a way for them to test using folders because I know that's been requested as a idea. Not 100% sure.

I speculated that as well. I have seen it before where Service changes are made prior to the Monthly Release Announcement that are later explained in the Announcement. It is slightly odd that only partial users see it though, I would have thought that the changes would be at the tenant level if a phased roll out was occuring. - collinq

Hey tctrout ,
This seems like an issue for you that is unique to you. I would turn in a ticket with Microsoft. I have not seen or heard about this recently. I am also wondering at the same time if there is a unique permission somehow on those users? But, I think this is a ticket. And, please let us know the result of it since this is a unique experience.

Thank you Burningsuit for confirming that this is not isolated to our company.
We are seeing exactly what you shared. I have 2 profiles, one for administration, and my administration has the Shared with me and my non admin profile has the new browse.
We have already eliminated the possibility of different browsers explaining the situation.

I came here to report the same thing - shared with me is missing for several users across my company.
Using https://app.powerbi.com/sharedwithme has served as a workaround, but the icon for these users is missing.- FredrikJ

Is there any news about this? We are also facing the same problem for the last week.

Thanks v-yanjiang-msft
That's very helpful. Can you tell me, is this new switch enabled by default, so users have to opt out of the new experiences ? If so it seems the wrong way around, as I think users should only get experminental features if they implicity ask for them. With this switch on, users in the same tenant see different UI features

Hi Burningsuit ,
Now it seems is. This is a new feature, may be different in the future, you could also submit an idea in Power BI ideas Forum to improve Power BI.
