Service & App - missing "More Details" - cannot export :(
Hi all,
Frustrating issue that I am not able to export table data from either the service or app side.
When I hover over the top right, where I would usually expect to see ellipse "More Options" > "Export Data" there is no "More Options" - it just has a visual of documents and says "Copy as image with caption" when hovering over.
Things I have tried:
In desktop ensuring "Export data" is selected in the Report Settings
Service
In workspace reorting settings ensured Export data is selected
Admin
In tenant settings ensured "Export to Excel / CSV" is enabled
Build permission - As I am an admin, I will have build permission as default?
I should note that some of my reports do allow export and some don't - across a mix of different data sources (SQL server, Excel, web etc).
Also may / may not be important, I did not create two of the reports which are not working, although some of the reports I have created in the past don't work and some do (tested it today and works to export fine).
Note, the anlayse in excel option is there. I don't want user groups using this as they do not have the excel skills, I need a standard export.
I am at a loss! Can anyone suggest what is causing this? What have I missed that it will not show the "More Details" on my visuals?

Hi. All the tenant configurations are looking good. However, there is another way to hide that. The developer of the report can hide the visual header icons from any visual with Power Bi Desktop. It looks like the developer has done that.

The visual has a conditional format option that shows all the button icons that you can remove.

Hi! Thanks yes I checked this and it wasn't hidden but this is a good point and a reminder so I went through and checked them all in other reports.
This hasn't fixed the issue but I realise now the user can just go into "edit" mode to export the data before returning back to the reader view.
So overall, i still have the issue but have some work arounds for now 🙂
