Semantic model relationship window scroll bar missing
- 14 days ago
I am assuming your semantic model is a direct lake semantic model. If yes then you should be able to edit the semantic model from Power BI desktop, please check if you are following the right steps

For the issue you are facing I have one workaround, which you can follow till the time the issue is resolved.
- In the new relationship window, after selecting From Table and To Table, select random columns which are accessible to you.
- Once the relation is created, On the right hand 'Data' pane toggle to 'Model' View.
- Expand 'Relationships'
- Select the relation you just created
- Properties pane will appear on the left, expand it.
- There you would be able to select the appropriate column from the vertical drop down.
- Change the other properties of the relation.
- Repeat the same for other relationships as well
I understand that this workaround involves multiple clicks. But this will work.

Thanks, i've raised a separate bug directly with Microsoft on the semantic model not opening in desktop.
The work around above works thanks so i'll mark as a solution. though annoying that the scroll bar is gone.
