Select Users are seeing old visuals/Data in published Reports

Currently I have a hybrid dataset of both import and direct query reports. They are published to apps and sheduled refreshed daily for the import tables.

Some users are reporting data which is over 2-3 days old, visuals which have been removed. Troubleshooting steps taken:

 

1. Refresh Dataset

2. Republish Report

3. Refresh Browser- Chrome, IE and Safari for same users with no resolution

4. Complete computer restart

5. Cleared all cache

6. Provided direct link to workspace version (this worked- however long term is not feasible)

 

This is happening on multiple reports for a least 2 users which I know of so far.

 

Is this a credential issue, caching issue or dataset issue? I have found a few threads but they were older and not resolution was posted.

    It sounds like a browser cache issue but it also sounds like you've ruled that out.

     

    To double-check another way, try having those users log in fresh via a new incognito/private browser instance.

    We did browser cache, but have not tried incognito. Will try that- thank you
