Scheduled refreshed - in progress (stuck)

Hi,

I have a scheduled refresh for my dataset in power bi service, however it seems that this morning got stucked and it hasn't finished refreshing yet. Any idea how can I stop it?

I tried the following actions:
-restart the gateway
-restart the server where gateway is installed
-update gateway. (version 3000.86.1 june 2021)

I want avoid load again the dataset because i have configure incremental refresh.
Any recommendation?

Regards,
Pablo

  • Hi pbl19

If you are using a gateway I would suggest stopping the gateway for a few mins, this should cause the refresh to stop working.

Otherwise you will have to wait for it to timeout and fail.

  • Hi pbl19 ,

he scheduled refresh in the Service side is a cloud Service, which we can't control it manually for now. But we only can control the gateway. Therefore we could stop the refresh in many ways. I restart the On-premises Gateway to stop the refresh in my test of on-demand refresh. You can try it for the scheduled refresh.

Edit: I shut down all the gateways of my account, the scheduled refresh stopped.

    refer:Stop dataset update

    Best Regards,

    Lucien
