Salesforce not refreshing
Hi Dawn0307,
Since Desktop refresh still works, I would treat this as a Power BI Service authentication or Salesforce session issue, not as a general Salesforce connector failure.
A few things I would check before rebuilding the reports:
Re-enter Salesforce credentials in Power BI Service under the semantic model data source credentials.
Check Salesforce Login History for the same user at the time of the failed Service refresh.
Confirm the Salesforce user still has API Enabled permission.
Ask the Salesforce admin to check Connected App policies for the Power BI OAuth app.
Make sure “Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated” is disabled in Salesforce session settings.
If the queries were created a long time ago, check whether the Salesforce API version in Power Query needs to be updated.
Make sure the connector is using a supported Salesforce URL, not a Lightning URL.
Because you mentioned that both Salesforce Reports and Salesforce Objects are affected, I would also review whether the Reports-based queries are worth keeping. The native Salesforce Reports connector has the frustrating 2,000-row limit, while Objects-based extraction is usually a better foundation for larger Power BI models.
If the native Service refresh keeps failing, you could test a Salesforce-side connector instead.
Power BI Connector for Salesforce by Metrica Software is available on Salesforce AgentExchange / AppExchange:

It lets you create prepared Salesforce data sources inside Salesforce, choose the objects and fields, apply filters, and connect Power BI to that controlled source. This can be helpful when the native Power BI Service refresh path keeps failing with Salesforce credentials errors.
There is a 30-day free trial, plus docs and support here:

Happy to show how we would migrate a Salesforce Reports or Objects model to a cleaner refresh setup.
Cheers,
