Rest API for workspace folder creation

Does anyone know if you can create a folder in a workspace using the rest api.  I can see references to Subfolder object id in some calls but it seems like this would be the id of an existing fold...
Need Help

Thanks. That is the information I found too. Nothing really point to it being available in the API and it is still technically in preview so hopefully its still to come.

You can also suggest the idea in the Microsoft Fabric.

    Good point. I'll make sure its raised. In the first instance I was really just confirming I wasn't missing something obvious

    We can't be patient no more. Folder has been announced since March, 2024 but til now, there is no rest api to create this? Did even MS consider it as a item?
