Refresh HELP!!
SOLVE:
I could solve the issue. I checked all the dates in the .txt and there was some wrong dates, with years like "2108, 9004,...". I filtered or modified that dates, and the service refresh works perfect.
Thanks everybody for the time and to help me.
Just one other thing to check is when you are in Power BI Desktop, click on Edit Queries, then Data Source Settings.
Do the data sources you have there match what you see in the personal gateway?
Hi Gilbert,
Thanks again. Yes, I checked like you said, and yes, all match!. And if I refresh from Power BI Desktop, all the information refresh great. The problem is the refreshed from the BI service.
Looking in the community, I found this post that is the same problem that I have:
Someone said that maybe has problem with a Mesaure or with a empty row in the Excel file... THAT could be the reason of the failed refresh? In that case, what can I do? It's so strange because in the desktop works excellente, but in the service not.
Thanks again!!!
- GilbertQ8 years agoSuper UserAre you able to possibly translate the error you are getting into English?
I unfortunately do not understand Spanish!- deangelodenis8 years agoHelper I
Of course, no problem.
The msg in english is:
"Cancellation occurred while sending or receiving a request" or "a cancellation occurred when sending or receiving an application".
