programmatically export powerbi service model to email/ftp

Hello,

 

I have some model with quite some calculation on Power bi services,the result of this model need to be send to third party by email/ftp (csv file). But i haven't seen anything on the API letting me connect to a data model and export it. With SSRS i can connect to the webservices and get an export  csv of the report,so how can i achieve the same thing with Power Bi ?.

Is there any workarround ?

 I find this solution http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Exporting-data-using-R/td-p/160286 but it will only work on Power Bi desktop as it export to a local file.

    Hi Anonymous,

    If you want to export dataset from Power BI service to csv file, you can select the report->...->Export data->csv file. More details, please review this article.



    If you want to export the calculations and models using API, it not supported untill now, please review the feature request and vote it. Thanks for understanding.
