Problem with composite model - "Couldn't load the data for this visual"
Hello Power BI community,
I have a problem with a report since this morning, which was not present before.
The report is based on a composite model that contains Import data + Direct Query data from 2 different Power BI models.
The tables from different sources are linked together in the data model, and it seems the problem only comes when some tables are put together in the same visual.
And the strangest part is : it works locally in Power BI Desktop !
It used to work properly without a problem, but now it shows the following error in the service : (excuse my French !)

Can anyone help on this issue ?
Indeed, every month there are new updates in Power BI and you need to be up to date. Example there was major updates on Power BI Gateway lately and it was a must to update it

Hi Anonymous
Refresh the report in your destop and Try to republish again to see what happens ! Latest updates in Power bi could be the cause.

Hi aj1973 , thank you for your reply !
We tried this but it didn't work.
However, since then it seems to have fixed itself overnight...
This is a bit frustrating because we have absolutely no explanation in the end.
Maybe it was some kind of update, but there was no announcement of any kind...- aj1973
