Powerpoint Integration - Something went wrong

I am trying to run the Powerpoint integration from Power BI Service.  I am getting an error message different from the primary error documented at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-power-bi-powerpoint-add-in-troubleshoot.   I keep getting "Something went wrong"  with the following error details:
Http Status Code: 404
Error Code: PowerBIEntityNotFound
Report Url: https://app.powerbi.com/links/eizkQf_PSa?ctid=4e98a144-4bd2-4f17-b751-a3c96b7e734c&pbi_source=linkShare&fromEntryPoint=share

Build: 13.0.19270.46
Office Host: PowerPoint
Platform: PC
PPT Version: 16.0.15629.20208

I have confirmed that I am running an acceptable Office build (

Microsoft® PowerPoint® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2209 Build 16.0.15629.20200) 64-bit

)

I have WebView2

I am running Windows 11

All updates on both Windows and Office are current.

I added this Reg Key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\WEF\Win32WebView2

The key's value should be set to:

dword:00000001

I rebooted.

I tried generating the PowerPoint link from Edge and from Firefox.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi wolo600 ,

    Please check the following:

    1. The Power BI storytelling will not work in PowerPoint presentations that are protected by Windows Information Protection (WIP), previously known as Enterprise Data Protection (EDP). This is because WebView2, which the Power BI add-in for PowerPoint requires, is not supported when Windows Information Protection is enabled.

    2. Firewall does not block access

Regarding 2, if I can get to the Power BI URL in a browser, wouldn't that mean that the firewall is not the issue?

      Hi Anonymous,

I am experiencing the same error. What would I be looking for if it were the firewall? The Admin is stating that we aren't blocking Port 443 (HTTPS) traffic, and we don't currently use WIP.
