Power BI Refresh Error: Sharepoint Request Failed

Hey Everyone,

 

I'm connecting to an Excel file on SharePoint, but when the scheduled refresh runs, it fails with the following error.  

 

A few things I've tried

1) Refreshing in PBI Desktop: Works fine

2) Clear my permissions via PBI Desktop and publish to Server => My sch refreshed worked a few times after that, then stopped working again.

    If you have a PRO license then raise a ticket to Microsoft. The more of us do that the more Microsoft will hopefully realize that this is a real problem, and not imaginary (pardon the pun).  Our users have multiple open tickets with them on this topic.  Rumors range from unannounced (and uncoordinated) schema changes by the Sharepoint team to impact from the TLS1.2 enforcement.  But these are just rumors.
