The IDbCommand interface is used to represent an SQL statement that is executed while connected to a data source, and IDataReader Interface is used to provide a means of reading one or more forward-only streams of result sets obtained by executing a command at a data source.
Based on the above error message, this problem should occur at the Gateway Client end, I would suggest you checking the Gateway error log to get more information: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-troubleshooting-power-bi-personal-gateway

Community ChampionAnonymous can't say, but what you can do is if you have the original power bi desktop version and if you update it manually what happens?
