Power Bi Desktop - SQL Server - Power BI Cloud

Good morning, let me start by saying that I am new to this forum so forgive me if I make something wrong. Our company has recently adopted Power BI (the free version) to analyze data present in a SQL Server database. With the desktop application we were able to create some analyzes with graphs, etc. When the time came to publish them on the web service, we realized that a gateway needed to be installed. We have installed the gateway by configuring it correctly and if I try to connect from Power Bi service the status is online and the same goes for the local data gateway (personal mode). However, when I load the graphs into Power Bi Service, an error message appears at the top that says "There is no gateway to access the data source db name".
I don't understand where to look for the problem... could it be a firewall problem? Let me know, thanks.

    Hi SAALLGOR ,

Make sure that all datasets used in the report have been connected through the On-premises data gateway.
Please note that On-premises data gateway (Personal mode) only supports data sources connected in Import mode, if your report is in DirectQuery mode or Live Connection mode in Desktop, please download On-premises data gateway (Standard mode):
Download On-premises data gateway from Official Microsoft Download Center
For more information about the difference between Personal mode and Standard mode, you can refer to this document:
Use a personal gateway in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
To use On-premises data gateway (Standard mode), you need to manually create a connection for your data source in Power BI Service:

For more information about how to create a data source connection, you can refer to this document:

  • Did you configure the datasources on the dataset? Click on the ... behind the dataset and click on Settings. In the section "Gateway and cloud connections" you have to map each source to a "data source" on the gateway. Were these sources created and is the connection succesful?
