Helper IPermissions/Process to stop users from editing reports

Hi smeg ,
If you want users to have read-only access to the reports, you can create an app and give users access to the app with the Viewer role in the workspace. Here is additional information:

smegAt this point of time,I have few reports for each dept like for sales and finance.I cannot add different dept users into same app.Also I cannot create more than one app in a workspace.
So using an App is not an option for me. Can you please suggest other ways or process so that we can block users from being able to do certain things like rearrange the visuals or drag around ,changing filters,editing reports.

You can give users the Viewer role in the workspace if you do not want them to be able to edit reports:

Thanks for the quick response.My users just consume the reports and they do not develop or have a role to play or add anything to reports.Overall I will not be adding them as users to workspace.But I will be sharing the reports to them by granting access to the report.So is there a way where I can block users from being able to do certain things like rearrange the visuals or drag around ,changing filters or edit the report.
