PBIP Git Integration Errors in Fabric

Hi community,

 

I have one AAS model in Azure Analysis Services and I migrate it in to the Premium Workspace using Azure Analysis services migration. I have some Power BI reports in Fabric and now I want to connect it to the newly migrated semantic model. I tried to do it using Fabric Git Integration with Power BI PBIP file. I download the PBIX file then change the source connection to the newly migrated semantic model and I saved it as a PBIP file in my local clone folder and I commited those changes to DevOps. 

And I got following error? 

 

 

Does any one know know this? Any ideas?

    Hi samudralb 

     

    What I would suggest doing is to create a new PBIP file which connects to your new Premium Workspace dataset. Then open up this PBIP and see the connection details and copy then to your existing report?

      In this case I have newly created workspace and I need to put my PBIP file into that folder. and How can I copy these files in to the workspace?

        Hi samudralb 

         

        You will have to make the changes to your existing PBIP files and then upload them to your workspace.
