Paginated Subscription Render 60 Minute Timeout

Hi,

 

The organisation I work for has recently moved to Power BI Paginated from SSRS. A couple of our reports will not send out subscriptions now, with the following error:

 

PaginatedReportTimeoutError

The rendering of the report has timed out. The maximum time allowed for a render is 60 minutes.

 

 

Is there any way to get around this? Some of the reports are large, so take over an hour to run.

    Hi HowardLJ 

     

    I would suggest if it is taking so longer to render the report, I would look at improving the performance of the underlying dataset. 60 mins is quite a lot time for the report to still not render.

      Thanks GilbertQ,

      The report itself takes less than an hour to run, but I think it's the act of exporting the data into excel for the subscription that pushes it over the edge. If I run the report manually, it returns without a problem. Is there any way to update the timeout for exports on subscriptions?

    Hi HowardLJ 

     

    As far as I know that is not possible. I would look at a way to maybe make the dataset export smaller?
