On-premises gateway - data source refresh Invalid connection credentials

The source is a SharePoint folder, and refresh/credentials work fine in the desktop version, but when I try to add the sharepoint source to the on premises gateway (see attached), I get the following...

    Hi dniedrauer,

     

    That is a limitation of on-premise gateway, maybe you can try to personal gateway to instead, it support combine datasources.

    From the link: 

     

    "On-premises gateway doesn't allow you to combine online data sources and on-premises data sources. This is a known issue that has been submitted in the following link and the feature that using on-premises gateway to work with online data sources is under review, please vote it." 

     

    Is this still an issue? If so, this could be my problem too...

        I am now having the same issue with the personal gateway too. Help!!
