New Workspace

As tayloramy​ mentioned, your Tenant admin team might have restricted your id to create new workspaces by disabling the below option under Tenant admin settings. You can reach out to them and ask them to either enable the option for your ID or ask them to create a new workspace for you and request them to grant necessary privileges the new workspace

Hallo and thank you for patience (I was on Vacation:-)

I am a bit confused by the behavior in our Power BI tenant.

When I try to create a new workspace, I receive the following error:

"Creating app workspaces is disabled. The creation of app workspaces has been disabled by your tenant administrator, or you do not have permission to create them."

Error details:

• Status Code: 401
• Activity ID: 1a4061ae-006d-4788-a516-0d7df0960b2b
• Request ID: d055246e-7d7b-4569-b938-01de3b045842

However, I was provided with a screenshot from the Tenant Settings showing that:

• Create workspaces = Enabled
• Apply to = The entire organization

Therefore, the tenant setting appears to allow workspace creation.

Has anyone seen this situation before?

Could this be caused by security group restrictions, licensing, or another admin setting?

Also, is there any way for a regular user to identify the Power BI/Fabric administrator or Capacity administrator responsible for these settings?

Any advice would be appreciated.
