Advocate IVNew Ribbon - very odd
I'm not sure I want to support our users with the new ribbon, it's poorly designed, takes a whole extra line of screen-estate, and I really don't want to encourage people to embed in powerpoint. Simple things like revert filters has an icon with a refresh symbol rather than revert - any UI person knows the difference.
Can I opt-out for all uers on our service?

At the moment I do not see a tenant-level switch that lets a Fabric or Power BI admin disable the new report ribbon for everyone.
Microsoft's report ribbon guidance still lists it as a preview feature and says each user can turn Try the new ribbon (preview) on or off at the top of the report.
Fabric does have tenant settings for many preview and UI features, but Microsoft's tenant settings guidance does not currently expose a specific setting for centrally disabling this ribbon preview.
So for now the practical options are:
- ask users to switch off Try the new ribbon (preview)
- document that as part of your internal Power BI guidance
- submit feedback on the ribbon design while it is still in preview
Since it is still a preview experience, I would definitely send Microsoft feedback on the extra screen space and the icon changes you mentioned. Hi,
There's no tenant admin setting to turn the new ribbon off for everyone. Each user can switch it off with the "Try the new ribbon (preview)" toggle at the top of a report.
