Native Query is not working for Mail attachment as Data Source

Hi All,

My Data source is a mail attachment - .txt file, I am using Native query to push this attachment data to SQL server. I can accomplish this when i run it from power bi desktop. Data are getting loaded into SQL server. I published this to Power BI Service though the schedule run says its completed but the data are not getting loaded into SQL server.

I tried to create same in Power BI dataflows but here i'm receiving below error.

Regards,

Tamilselvi K

Can you confirm that you have got the latest version of the On-Premise Gateway installed?

    Hi, Anonymous

Can you share how you do it? Why not import it directly into powerbi?

I doubt that it doesn't support .txt files, usually the data source needs to support Query folding.

So what data source do you consider now and do you still have problems?

    Hi, Anonymous

The way you tried before should not support txt type. So why don't you directly import the txt file in powerbi?
