Missing "Paste" option on slicer in Org App
Hi everyone,
I am encountering an unexpected behavior regarding the "Paste" feature on slicers when distributing reports via "Org Apps".
I have a report containing a native slicer. When I view this report directly from the Workspace, clicking the "..." (More options) above the slicer displays the "Paste" option that allows me to paste multiple values. Same with the "traditional" app.
However, when I access the exact same report via an "Org app", the "Paste" option is missing from the visual header menu.
Is this a known bug/limitation specific to Org Apps, or is there a hidden Tenant/org App setting that controls the clipboard interaction within the Org App wrapper?
Thanks in advance for your insights!
PS : My browser clipboard permissions are fully granted.
Hi LPN
Thanks for reaching out to Fabric Community.1. Is it an Org App limitation?
Yes. This is a known feature-parity gap, not a bug in your report. The "Paste" (paste a list of values) action lives in the slicer's visual header menu, and the Org App wrapper currently renders a reduced visual-header menu compared to the workspace/traditional-app consumption experience. Org Apps are still relatively new and rolling out, so newer visual-header actions like slicer Paste light up in the workspace and classic app before they reach the Org App surface. That's exactly why you see it in the workspace and the traditional app but not the Org App.
2. Is there a hidden Tenant/Org App setting for clipboard interaction? No, there is no tenant admin toggle or Org App setting that enables/disables clipboard/paste inside the Org App wrapper. Since your browser clipboard permissions are already granted, there's nothing on your side to flip. It's governed by what the Org App shell currently exposes, not by a configurable option.
As a woraround you can as below:- For workflows that rely on bulk-pasting into slicers, point those users to the report via the workspace where Paste is present.
- As an in-report alternative that works everywhere, consider a text/search slicer (or a filter pane search) so users can enter multiple values without depending on the header Paste action.
Thank you.
