    I have solved this issue!

I had an older PowerBI document with published Google sheets that updated well.

There was an option at the Web link "Load HTML-page (older version)". In the new made PowerBI document when linking to Web data this option is not longer present (?).

So I added the link in this document older and published it. Auto update did work well now.

Please note: this might be a PowerBI desktop version issue.....

'Fixed this by replacing Web.BrowserContents with Web.Contents'

Could you help me where and how to apply this solution. I have no clue.

      Thanks in advance.
