live streaming using the querying the sql server table
Hi,
I have a requirement where uer wants to do live streaming on a dashboard. The source of dataset would be sql server.I am not sure how to do this, looks like some online help says to use Rest APIs using powershell/c#/python.
- Will be great if someone can attach a sample of the code in c# and what would be the flow in this requirement- like start from push/stream dataset to insertion of rows into the dataset.I am confused about push/stream although read lot of google.
- They need to store the data going back 2 days and see up to date data on dashboard every 6 seconds. This is the rate at which their table refreshes.
- pls help me understand their need for live stream and rule out all other options.Correct me if wrong.Since it is the sql server to be queried ,there is no option to schedule the refresh(direct query because import is not the goal ) every 10 secs, hence, the only option is to act upon live streaming.
