Live Data Reporting

Hi , 

I am  building a report that requires live connection to db and get it refreshed  every min. What is the best route to start the report Direct Query or Import ? The report requires some Time Intellegince based calcuation which is limted in Direct Query method I think and it needs constant refreshing which is limted in Import route to only 8 times a day. So I am in pickle situtation ? 

 

any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi CharityBI,

    Both import and Direct Query can not refresh very min, which is a limitation up to now. Please review this idea. You'd better use a import model, so that you can all Time Intelligence function.

    For one option, you can purchase Power BI Premium, there is no refresh frequency limitation for premium account.
