incremental refresh for updated rows only

Hi. The thing is that if you want a model that can update rows for more than one month, then you need to change strategy. Incremental refresh can't handle that. It can do two things. One increment or add new changes and Two refresh full last N period (usually a month, some days) and keep N period to stay on hold.

It depends on data changes options hwo you use it. Rows with a date/time older than the refresh period are no longer refreshed when option is off and if you turn on it will add rows and not update.

You need a new strategy if you want to update history like refreshing all over again if there is an update from more than 1 year ago. If the size of the model is not too big remove incremental refresh. You can also try an Aggregations approach. At the end you can also handle the two rows if you know they exist using the one with last date in the measures.
