Incremental Refresh and full refresh taking time

Hi Anonymous 

 

This is because when you publish the PBIX it overwrites all of the data.

 

If you are using Power BI Premium or Premium Per user you could use the ALM Toolkit to deploy just the changes which would keep the data?

 

Another option is to make sure your PBIX has got all the historical data before you upload your changes. This will then have all the data while the incremental refresh starts in the background.
