Hover text stopped working in service

Hi,

 

Up until a few weeks ago "Hover text" was working in my report in Service. If i download my report and open in Desktop it is still working, just not when i publish the report in Service. Same issue when using Chrome or Edge browser.

 

To confirm, this is not seperate Tooltip configuration. Simply when you hover over a text field, the text/content is displayed in a "pop up" box.

This is especially usefull when there is too much text to fit in the cell, for example when im using it in a status field.

Anyone else noticed this? has something been disabled?

    Hi , kleighton 

    According to your descripition, when you view the table visual in Power BI Service and you hover your mouse on the fields in it .  It did not show the tooltips.

    For this , you can try to open the ToolTips options for this visual in Power BI Service:

    Then we can see the tooltip when you hover on it :

     

    And you can also custom the tooltip if you need , you can refer to this:
