Gateway keeps active connection on my data source?

Hello My DBA told me that they see 2 active connections on the database with the user ID I use. And we dont have any other sessions open from Power BI Desktop as well.   So does this mean that my...

Hi there

If you are using the source as a DirectQuery it will refresh the dashboard cache every 15 minutes which is the default setting.

Hello

No, my question is actually with respect to gateway usage with import mode.

I am not using DirectQuery.

    I have not seen that happen before.

    Is it causing any performance issues on the source?
