Yes the error seems to be a little odd to me also. Please try to take a manual refresh and see if the refresh could be completed.
Scenarios regarding the error message that I could think out are the followings:
- Under Data refresh page in Power BI, refresh is canceled;
- At the Data source side, the data access request has been rejected;
By the way, the time of error message posted is 2016-08-31 07:04:43Z, could you please also share the error details for the one which the time is 8/31/2016 10:04:43?
For troubleshooting, please check your data source connectivity, also the gateway settings under Power BI service.
If your data source side has configured any audit policy, then please also take a look at the related logs.
In addition, consider take use of Fiddler or F12 developer tools to capture a refresh trace, for further investigation.
