External Sharing & Email Subscription

I have a couple report from different customers that are shared with me as an external partner (I am not on the users domain). 
The 'Subscribe' button is visable & clickable but clicking it does not bring up the subscription window. Subscribe is working on reports within my enviornment. I have tried in Chrome & IE. 
Is this normal, an unintended feature (aka bug), or I am doing something wrong?

    Hi emmet63,

     

    When sharing your dashboard with people outside your organization, and acces the dashboard from your emai link your can see the shared dashboard in its own browser window without the left navigation pane, not in their usual Power BI portal. Actually the dashboard are not exist on their workspace. So you cannot subscribe this report.

      Thank you for the reply Charlie. It is a small item, but the way Power BI presents it, it looks to be a capability that is not working. Other non-functioning items in this mode are greyed out.
